Good health and health care benefits are important to all of us. We appreciate the commitment to your work and to leading a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to provide a benefits package that is affordable and provides the security for you and your family.

This website will give you a summary of the plans, resources and the cost to employees.

Benefits Eligibility

You are eligible for benefits when you are an actively employed full time employee.

Many of the plans offer coverage for eligible dependents, including:

  • Your legal spouse
  • Your child( ren ), including a stepchild, a legally adopted child, or a child for whom you are the legal guardian (up to the end of the month the dependent turns 26 years old)
  • Your dependent children of any age who are physically or mentally unable to care for themselves

Reminder – There is a working spouse provision on the medical plan. If your spouse has access to other medical coverage, they are not eligible to enroll in the health plan.

Qualified Life Events

You can sign up for or change your benefits elections at the following times:

  • During annual benefits open enrollment in July.
  • Within the first 60 days of eligibility as a newly hired employee. Coverage will be effective on the first of the month following 60 days.
  • Within 30 days of experiencing a qualifying life event
Examples of Qualifying Life Events
Marriage Divorce, legal separation
Birth or adoption of a child Gain or loss of coverage
Change in dependent’s status Change in work status

Termination of Coverage

Your benefits coverage will terminate at the end of the month following:•

  • The date in which you terminate employment for any reason including death
  • The date in which you no longer meet the eligibility requirements
  • The date in which contribution payments are not received
  • The date any benefit plan is terminated
  • The date you enter the armed forces on active, full time duty except as covered under USERRA
